Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence has already arrived. And in your company ?

It's no longer science fiction: artificial intelligence, or A.I., will revolutionize all professional sectors over the coming years. Gaining command of this technology is now no longer an option but a necessity for remaining competitive and ensuring the survival of your company.

Imagined long ago, reality today

Alan Turing, mathematician recognized for having contributed through his works to the decoding of the Nazis' Engima machine during the Second World War and for having laid the foundations of informatics, was one of the first to speak of it, back in 1950. But it would be another almost half a century for artificial intelligence to see the emergence of its first real applications. And history has winged heels: it is now thought that companies will see their activities radically affected by AI in the very near future.

Machine learning vs deep learning

The term artificial intelligence in fact covers quite different realities and, among other things, two technological approaches: “machine learning” and “deep learning”. The first is a case of a computer learning some rather basic notions, allowing it, however, to - as it were - mimic cognitive processes close to those of the human brain. For the second technology much more complex algorithms are used, modelled on our neurons and synapses. Result: the machine learns in part only, developing capacities the limits of which are still hard to imagine.

Most professions are already affected

Whether it is a matter of innovation, assistance in data analysis, personalized client relations or large-scale industrial production, all enterprises must consider the question - if they have not already - if they are not to find themselves soon overtaken. From the financial sectors through to agriculture, all are already affected and will be even more affected in the short to medium term.

Asking the right questions

Where to start ? What strategy to follow? Based on which technologies ? Setting up what kind of organization ? Recruiting which new profiles of employees ? How to train those already present ? All so many questions that require enlisting the services of experts in artificial intelligence who already have experience with the introduction of solutions in enterprises and who are equal to the task of working out with you an exact route map. Without necessarily rushing headlong into outsize investments in relation to your real needs, present and future.
